This is a word used in similar situations as YES except with some doubt. As in, of course you want to but you are unsure as to whether or not you can.

the mathematical equation would be:
100% of YIES = 70% of YES + 30% of cute doubt

Averting eye contact to the ground in the last few seconds before you walk past someone. Then as you're passing them you look up again. Something we all do because we've become such a wimpy species.
