v. To make a bottled liquid last longer by adding water and shaking the bottle, thereby collecting the residue from the sides of the bottle. From the 1999 Chris Rock Comedy special, "Bigger and Blacker," in which Rock explained his father's views on the healing power of Robitussin cough syrup and what to do if you run out of tussin.
