"Trolling is a art" is perhaps the definitive statement regarding trolling. If we define trolling as the intentional disruption of another's emotional well being, often through a feigned promotion of an unpopular belief, or political position, the statement is in itself a troll. The deliberate use of "a" where "an" should be is likely to arouse a negative reaction among those concerned with correct english usage. The fact that the statement is itself directly referring to trolling and the art thereof gives further power to its effect; if you're jimmies are rustled by this statement, its author has succeeded, and its veracity has been confirmed.

To "Troll her/his Wood" is the act to purposefully confuse some one to the point of utter failure, is done for the sole purpose of generating lulz

Zoom Trolling

A person in which joins a zoom meeting and intentionally acts out to get attention,usually a student having a boring time in class (which I don't blame,I mean your in the house with a virtual class so it would be nice to have some humor)

Teacher from Zoom meeting:Who is Mike Oxlong?
Mike Oxlong:Me you stupid birch
Teacher:Okay,I know you're not in my class so leave now

recursive trolling

An exchange between participants on an internet discussion board where there seems to be multiple levels of trolling; i.e., the victim might be trolling the troll, the troll might be aware he is being trolled and so trolls the victim's attempt at trolling, and so on. It is recursive in the sense that there is no limit to how many levels deep the trolling might be.

This thread is so absurd there must be recursive trolling going on.

Trolling

Trolling – (verb), as it relates to internet, is the deliberate act, (by a Troll – noun or adjective), of making random unsolicited and/or controversial comments on various internet forums with the intent to provoke an emotional knee jerk reaction from unsuspecting readers to engage in a fight or argument
Trolling on-line forums as described above is actually analogous to the fishing technique of “trolling”, where colorful baits and lures are pulled behind a slow moving boat, often with multiple fishing lines, covering a large bodies of water, such as a large lake or the ocean. The trolling lures attract unsuspecting fish, intriguing them with the way they move through the water, thus enticing these foolish fish to “take the bait”. Not unlike unsuspecting internet victims, once hooked, the fish are reeled in for the catch before they realize they have been duped by the Troll/Fisherman

This guy made a really rude and off the wall comment about my You Tube video, I think he was just trolling for a response, but I ignored him
