Digital Serf

A Digital Serf is a person who lacks property or wealth, and yet has access to a wide range of Internet Enabled devices such as Smart Phones, Tablets PCs, Gaming Consoles, Laptops, and Net Books.

Like previous generations of the working class who lacked property and means, the Digital Serf still finds distraction from their dreary life, but unlike their historic comrades the opiate of the masses today is the every present Internet delivered on cheap, and often portable devices.

A vote serf is someone whose vote is expected/borderline demanded by a political party, politician, or their supporters, despite offering few-to-no policies of interest to the person in question.

"Politician/party X won't do Y for you, but you should still vote for them so at least politician/party Z doesn't get into office"

Pretending to work. Covertly engaging in fun activities instead of work, but still appearing as a motivated employee.

Three reasons for the origin of this word:
1) A serf was a form of slave required to work a master's land. Lower-level employees in a modern business can also feel like slaves.
2) Surfing the internet is a common activity undertaken instead of working
3) Surfer culture is traditionally laid back and does not value working

Friend: Were you busy at work today?
Office Worker: Nah, I was serfing all day.

Serfiraz

Serfiraz is a cool guy.He is my first friend on the server and have been friends ever since.He is a bit of a bunda biscuit, he drinks a lot of water.He is a duck and has his own pond. Serfiraz sings us in kurdish and I really like it. He is the best bad influence and carries only one life deprived braincell. Serfiraz loves french and studies it.He is fun and british, oh my days! We fight a lot, but it is "bAnTerIng", as he says. "If you mess with the duck, you will get the buck.", citing serfiraz.
