Sketchers United

Sketchers United (often abbreviated to SU) is a rather small website that was created in order to be a replacement of the now defunct Sony Sketch after the said app's shutdown. Its community was really active and friendly at first but it changed overtime to be probably even more toxic than Twitter with all the dramas, bullying, trolls and communists roaming around. Also the fact that Carl (creator of SU, also known by alias "mrsketch") doesn't care about his website anymore, and its moderators either banning innocent users for apparently no reason or not banning actually problematic people doesn't help it at all. It is often adviced not to make account on Sketchers United for your own safety and mental health.
Person A: Hey, have you heard about Sketchers United?

wears sketchers

If someone does something that another person does not approve of, or said person makes a comment against a popular trend or the consensus of a majority, the opinion or credibility of that person may simply be thrown out by stating that they "wear sketchers," implying that they are not in a position to make a proper judgment on the particular subject being discussed.
Person 1: "Hey, did you hear Jim today? He said that the BCS system is fine the way it is!"

Person 2: "Nah, man, he's a fool. That clown wears sketchers."
