Depending upon where you live, "rats with wings" are seagulls or pigeons. So named because of their scavenger natures.

Give me a gun, so I can shoot some of those annoying rats with wings.

Valley Rats

Someone who lives Lynn Valley North Vancouver and never leaves the valley. Typically from Sutherland or Argyle. They are reckless trashy and out late being a menace to society. Using lingo such as Dons, finesse, boonk, boys, or full send. Everyone from the valley spends 4 to 5 hours a day in dons (Mcdonalds) and they all know the homie franie G. Every Valley rat knows winners is the finesse plug and they all vape. Valley rats are usually reckless and loud.

"Oh chris, dont invite him he is a valley rat"

"I have some valley rats who could mess you up"
"Lets go to dons and see all the valley rats"

Raton morning

That morning after you've drink a lot of poor quality alcohol and you feel terrible (raton means hangover in Spanish)

The other day I woke up on my best friend's sofa, feeling like I was going to die, and I drank a couple of beers. That was a hell of a raton morning.

Mates Rates

To sell a product or service to someone at the same or close to what the product or service will cost you. Hence the person that you are selling to is being given a substantial discount on the normal price. As the term "mates rates" suggests this level of discount is usually only given to mates, or friends, of the person selling the product or service.

Bob: "Hey Johnno, how much did you pay for that computer?"
John: "Got it real cheap mate. Trev sold it to me at mates rates."
