Pulling A Carlton

A facade in which one acts incredibly nice and proper, like Carlton from Fresh Prince, no matter how hood he is or appears. Usually the only way a black guy can ever hope to avoid a traffic ticket. Some dudes will pull a Carlton to impress parents, employers, school faculty members, etc.

Dude 1: So I pulled a California stop at this street sign thinking nobody was around, but then this small town cop made me pull over.

Dude 2: Damn, man. Did you get a ticket?

Dude 1: Nah, I played it chill by pulling a Carlton. Just got a warning and he drove off.

Dude 2: Ha-ha, nice!
