A historical, traditional stew recipe originating in and around the Parkway Garden Homes (O-Block) in Chicago. Its recipe varies, but it has been described by locals as a cross between chili con carne and rice-based soup that also contains mushrooms and peppers grown in O Block. It is commonly prepared as a festive, perpetual stew.
