A term used by companies to describe people who are not white.

"We're looking to hire people from minority groups!"
"Great, I'm a trans, gay, and disabled person!"
"Are you white?"
"Yes."
"Not applicable."

A person below a given legal age limit. Typically the age limit in question is the age of majority (generally 18, but ranges internationally from 15-21), but may also refer to other age limits such as the drinking age and the age of consent.

1: One who is under the age of eighteen. the government put this into place to hopefully stop teenage pregnancy, teenage drinking, and to stop people over the age of 18 from being with the so-called "minor" even if it is consensual to both parties.

2: small; smaller. Not as important.

1: "Dude, that is so fucked up! I've been going with this guy for three years then he turns 18 four months ahead of me, and the police arrested him. that is so fecking stupid!"

2: "I'm majoring in law and minoring in child development at university. what are yours?"

minority

Anyone who is not white. Even if whites are technically "the minority" in a country that is mostly another race, the non-whites are still called "minorities", because that's what minorities are!

"I went to Mexico over the summer, there were so many minorities there!! I think I was the only one there that wasn't a minority!"

"Excuse me sir, what race are you?"
"I'm a minority"

An ethnic, racial, religious, or other group having a distinctive presence within a society.
A group having little power or representation relative to other groups within a society.
A member of one of these groups.
Or for you narrow-minded idiots who think it is nothing but a song, a Green Day song.
