California Irish Goodbye

Abandoning your friends at a party/bar/dinner without saying a single word to any of them, usually resulting from being very intoxicated. California Irish Goodbye's are risky for the DUI exposure. Also deserting your buds 10-20 miles away from their residence deserves an ass kicking.
Where's John at, I haven't seen him for over an hour.

I dunno, someone mentioned he did a sneaky California Irish goodbye a while ago.

When you pass out in a public place after drinking too much. The reason that it is "failed" is because a sucessful Irish Goodbye involves leaving the scene BEFORE you pass out.
Dude I wish I would have got a picture of your Failed-Irish Goodbye last night when you were passed out at the diner

Telephonic Irish Goodbye

When someone is texting you, and mid conversation, especially when you’re expecting a response, they simply stop texting. Some blame falling asleep or being distracted, but some are prone to it, while others are not.
Dude, I was texting my girl last night and asked her how her bar tending shift went, and once again out of no where she gave me the telephonic Irish goodbye. When we texted this morning it’s like last night’s conversation never happened.

Dirty Irish Goodbye

When one or more parties leave a restaurant without telling anyone they are leaving and without paying any part of the group bill.
Jason: Where did Lucas and John go? The bill is $200 and they never paid.

Jim: They walked out the door like 5 minutes ago. Looks like they pulled a dirty Irish goodbye.
