HvH is also known as Hack versus Hack. At this point CS:GO has developed the biggest HvH scene around.
It's often more complex than thought. Maps play entirely different if playing the stated gamemode.
Excellent map knowledge, perfect awareness about bangable spots, perfect nading skills and the understanding of the used software are necessary to win a game.
