When someone gains career perks, promotions, or special treatment by sleeping with or dating the boss, instead of through merit. A play on “nepotism". The person benefiting is called a Honey-baby.

Jake didn’t get that raise from working hard, it’s pure Honeytism, he just shags the boss. He’s basically a Honey-baby.
