In facebook subculture, when a post is made within a group specifically to draw out members with shitty morals/ideas/beliefs/etc. so that they will argue and expose themselves. Like baiting but instead of wanting to just see people get heated its specific to exposing them.

Get the honey potmug. A question or statement post on social media that attracts the attention of a certain group of opinions that are undesired. When the undesirables answer the question or comment in the wrong manner, they are kicked from the group/page/profile.
I mod for a group and starting a honey pot asking if white people's opinions mattered on race. We had a lot of bans that day.

the web hosting company set up a server with a vulnerability that allowed script kiddies to gain access to it, so they could catch them in the act.
