Atheist Fundamentalism is an oxymoron, because, fundamentalism implies a subscription to a belief set like a text book. One could be fundamental in a non-theistic philosophy, but, it is impossible to be an atheist fundamentalist.
However, in the context of it being used as an insult, it is used to denote atheists who are 100% certain that god does not exist (positive atheism) and hold anti-religious stances. This is the opposite of a religious fundamentalist who is 100% certain that god does exist and hold anti-atheist stances.

Atheist Fundamentalism is the polar opposite of religious fundamentalism because both regard their beliefs as being objectively correct while being just as intolerant as each other.

Get the Gundamentalist mug. It's not the religion that's the problem... It's the NOT CHANGING THE RELIGION... To fit modern liberal social sentiment like... The religion is fine so long as there aren't any gender roles and you're not condemnatory of the gays and women are allowed to do whatever they want and are =>Men and NEVER THE OTHER WAY AROUND..... Then, yeah, no the religion is great.
Hym "The fundamentalism! It's the looking at the words in the book... And NOT REINTERPRETING THEM... And accepting the assertions about morality that have supposedly posited by God... THAT is the problem... Otherwise it's great! I can use the authority of God to make people love and accept and not hurt me no matter what I do- Uh, I mean.. PEOPLE... You can use God to make people accept PEOPLE regardless of what they do and then BAM! Religion is fine now! You just have to carve out all of the parts I don't like! See? Then it's fine! Because obviously no one should be allowed to hate me, right? It's not like I'm some kind of manipulative, authoritarian pieces of shit that wants my own personal values deified and won't accept the validity of a religion that doesn't do exactly that! Right?"

Get the Fundamentalism mug.Skeptical Fundamentalism is a variation of secular fundamentalism where secular fundamentalism is used in a way to doubt, mock and challenge religion, spirituality, esoterics, occultism, supernaturality and extraphysics using of atheism, scientism, materialism, physicalism and positivism for do so in a way that it always seek to put those as delusions, schizophrenia, psychosis and hallucinations and the things that skeptical fundamentalism supports as the absolute true of reality. Skeptical fundamentalism is often support by skeptical zealots, that are the evolution of atheist zealots, and it's really common inside secular fundamentalism and scientistic fundamentalism, besides often compared to religious fundamentalism.
"Skeptical fundamentalism is just really bad as secular fundamentalism and religious fundamentalism, the skeptical movement is majoritarian follower of skeptical fundamentalism and secular fundamentalism, it should change, but it only change with a massive groundwork showing why secular fundamentalism and skeptical fundamentalism are no different from religious fundamentalism."
