Dumbassitry

pronounced: (DUMB-ASS-uhh-tree). VERB. A synonym for the word shenanigans. The act of committing shenanigans is the same as dumbassitry. Another word for the random stupid things people do for fun.

Brad and his friends are pulling their usual dumbassitry by running around without clothes or simply ripping paint off walls.

It is bold and it is really dumb. Dumbassity is dumb and audacity inseparably conjoined, in the tradition of "assclown". While something can be done with audacity without being dumb, and something can be simply dumb without being audacious. When you have the combo platter, it will likely be spectacular, and perfectly described by "dumbassity”.

I have been working “dumbassity" into conversation for about a year in my social and work circles, and it is showing some traction. It rolls nicely off the tongue.

Creeping along in a line of 5 MPH traffic, he pulled into my lane of 50 MPH traffic, a regrettable move of unparalleled dumbassity.
