Sleep for dinner

An expression used (often ironically) when one goes to bed instead of making, ordering, or buying food either for financial reasons or out of laziness. This is most commonly used by college students and recent graduates who are drowning in student debt.

Matt: Bro, I'm fucking dying. I literally had two tortilla shells for brunch and haven't eaten since.
Dax: Nigga, what you talking about. Sleep for dinner?
Matt: Damn, you right. See ya tomorrow man.

Syd: Girl, my bank account's under five bucks again, and I'm starving.
Ariel: Same, girl. Looks like we're having sleep for dinner. Again...

No Dinner Drunk

The act of getting drunk incredibly quickly, off of very little alcohol due to the act of missing or skipping dinner.

Typically arises as a result of going out for drinks with friends after work, or with clients after a meeting. This also makes the eventual embarrassment that much more harrowing.

Ben: How was the going away party last night?

Joey: It was good until I layed down for a rest on the dance floor?

Ben: What?

Joey: I forgot to eat something. I was totally no dinner drunk.

Bag of Dinner

The most disgraceful, humiliating, degrading way to eat meal. It is when you and a group of friends pitch enough money for one of you to get into a buffet. Once in the buffet line, the person you sent in grabs as much food as possible and puts into a plastic bag(usually one you find blowing around the street on your way to the buffet). After the bag has been filled, he leaves the buffet. You all go somewhere quiet and away from public ridicule to shamefully look like a group of hobos eating pizza and french fries out of a bag. At the end of the meal you no longer have any hunger. Or dignity.
