A small town in Missouri, west of Hannibal about 60 miles. There is one cop who sits by the tracks, an over priced restaurant, & 2 gas stations.

The powerful, competent adult on the surface belied the lifelong struggle with the silly man child/girl child underneath the surface of the skin. The one that always tried to turn everyone else into the man child/ girl child, or the 40 year old adolescent.
