Requiem For A Dream

Requiem For A Dream is quite possibly the most brilliant movie ever made. Based on the 1978 novel by Hubert Selby. I'm in no way belittling the book, as it was also wonderfully done, but this is the only movie I've ever seen that bested the novel before it.

The film depicts different forms of addiction, leading to the characters' imprisonment in a dream world of delusion and reckless desperation, which is then overtaken and devastated by reality.

Starring: Ellen Burstyn, Jared Leto, Jennifer Connelly, and Marlon Wayans. Burstyn was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actress in 2000 for her role.

This is the slang term based off of a YouTuber named dream when he is faced with controversy he throws a temper tantrum on Twitter. So the word means a person that reacts poorly to situations or controversies and likes to throw a temper tantrum on Twitter about it.

Person1:Did you see that don got into a controversy today

Person2: yeah he was being a dream about it

One of the few R-rated films I would not recommend viewing until you are actually of age... My God.... BUT amazing, nonetheless.
