It’s a place where you pay a bunch of money, and spend a lot of time doing coursework, in order to get a piece of paper called a degree. This piece of paper tells your employer that you had the motivation to get up in the morning, take notes, and go through exams or presentations. Most of the time, unless you’re studying engineering or something, you’re not going to be using the knowledge that you learned in the workplace.
