Over the past five years, a mysterious and polarizing friend group has quietly carved a name for itself across several states. Known only as the “Men Groupchat,” or simply the “Men GC,” this group is said to consist of a close-knit circle of Brazilian friends. They are from a church community known as the *Christian Congregation in the United States*, located in Newark, New Jersey.
They came together through church events, or youth gatherings called Youth Meetings which is where it is believed they cause these conflicts.
But what sets the Men GC apart from other group chats isn't simply who they are, but rather, what people *say* they are.
Despite the lack of public appearances or concrete proof of their actions, stories about the Men GC have become legend. Rumors swirl across state lines—particularly in Philadelphia, Massachusetts, Ohio, Florida, New York, New Jersey, and Virginia which usually occurs in meetings that the church has known as “Youth Meetings”. It is rumored that they secretly rate girls’ appearances, manipulate affections, and leave a trail of broken hearts behind them.
Some even go so far as to label them “players” or “cheaters” because of their stories regarding relationships the Men Gc had with female members of their church.
