A humorous term of saying "My friend" or "dude!"

Mostly used by street kids.

Friend A:"Yo, how's it going my doobie!?"
Friend B: "I'm gonna go chill with Lance."
Friend A: "Who is Lance?"
Friend B: "That's my Doobie!"
Friend A: "Alright, i'll see ya later, doobie!"

Chicken-Dookit

A Chicken- Dookit would be described by some as splendiferous, amazing, lovable and far from a curried item. Very quickly observed in the wild as the leader of the pack, however in social environments such as ques in supermarkets and other similar spots, the Chicken-Dookit is far from its usual extroverted self. They tend to avoid making eye contact and shuffles for imagined belongings in any available pockets. In the past when the Chicken-Dookit has worn clothing with no pockets such as a dress they panick and reach in to by-standers pockets, which usually results in being labelled as a bad bad, Chicken-Dookit. When spending time with relatives in Peru, they were encouraged to engage in this act as a form of entertainment to the rest of the tribe. Which probably had a detrimental effect on the Chicken-Dookit's social skills in later life.

Despite this apparent defect, they are sweet and are great in tortillas with garlic mayo, chilli sauce and variety of salady pieces of veg-taaaaables!

Q-Hey you! Chicken-Dookit! What you doing in my pockets?!?!?
A-Oh I dunno!!
Q-Well stop that nonsense and get in my tortilla!!
A-Oh?!?!
R-Yea and bring your friends!!
S-Baby!!

Doobie

1. In the field of green herbal cigarettes, a doobie is a big ‘fat one’ of the hand-rolled variety.

“Och-aye Jock, sort out that doobie will ya? I need some herbal relaxant if I’m going to sit through your Best of the Proclaimers album again.”

2. A terms used to affectionately refer to the Emirate of Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, the term Doobie will often be used by former residents of Chelsea and Pimlico to refer to their new found home in the Gulf.

“I say Jemima, what about a round of drinks down at the yacht club before we waddle off down into Doobie for a few bottles of the old ‘falling down water’.”

3. Doobie – when used in its full form as “Doobie doobie doo” is the Frank Sinatra inspired line used by lounge performers such as Richard Cheese to denote a freeform break in the music.

“Oh baby you are so fine, I wanna make you all mine, all mine, all of the time… Doobie doobie doo (repeat refrain…)
