For someone to be cute, that would imply that that person is ugly, but f***able. That person is not 'hot' or attractive, but is acceptable.

Two guys, one asks the other one : "Do you think Jane is hot?"
Second guy: "Nah, I think she's cute"
First guy: "So you would't date her"
Second guy: "No way, I only want to wake up once with her next to me."

Adj: The word used to describe small children, baby animals, and adorable or coy acts.

NOT Something you call a girl to compliment her looks, use the word pretty in place of Cute when doing that.

Example#1:
Girl: Awah That puppy is soooo cuuute!!

Example#2:
Mom: Our son is just so cute when he plays make-believe!

Example#3:
Boyfriend: That was very cute of you, what you just did
