Design Proxy

A customizable character made on a video game for the sole purpose of the design, often to be deleted as soon as the design has been transferred onto paper, an art program, an image hosting web site, etc.

"I made Alyte on Soul Calibur 3, but I'm not going to use her cos the weapons for her Class suck horribly. She's such a Design Proxy."

An individual with an interest, verging on obsession, for design. Often ostracised in society by the colour uncoordinated. Usually (but not restricted to) Apple fanboys.

This trait can manifest itself in the awkward use of design terminology in non-design situations. For example, when describing the colour of phlegm in a sick note as being similar to #CCFF00.

Designated Area

A designated spot is where you are selected to be positioned, preferably by God to stay in that area till ones term is over. This could be a spot in class, where you sit at lunch, where you stand in line-up when warming up.

E.g. Matt was not designated to that spot in line so he was asked to move.

E.g. This is a designated area sorry.

E.g. Designated dog.

E.g. When you are in your designated area things just go smoother.

Designer Dog

What irresponsible back yard breeders and puppy mills call mutts and sell for exorbitant amounts of money. These losers are creating another fad that comes at the expense of innocent dogs.

Hey is that guy walking a schnoodle or a puggle, you know one of those designer dogs?

Neither, it's a dumbass that paid $1,000 bucks for a mutt that has hip dysplasia.
