When you have to take a shit so bad you shift around to a position where it doesn’t feel like shit is going to pool out of you unintentionally
Chris: “I HAVE TO POO SO BAD ITS ABOUT TO COME OUT OF ME RIGHT NOW”
Also Chris: “oh wait. If I shit shift real fast I’m in a better position. I now don’t feel like I’m about to dookie my pants :)”
“Man shit shifting is such a gift”

Giving a handjob while wiggling his penis around like a stick shift, while also making engine noises. Vroom vroom.

A "Cake Shift" is a restaurant term for an very easy shift. It is typically used to describe a slower shift but is also used to talk about a shift that went so smoothly that you didn't have to think much as you completed the shift.
Tom: How was last night at the restaurant?
Steve: We were so organized and ready for pop, it was a cake shift.

The involuntary or voluntary movement from one area inside an elevator to another due to the increase in available space created by the exiting of another individual. This occurs more often when the exiting individual is a complete stranger, as the shift aids in alleviating the stress induced by the awkward elevator ride.
Example Situation:
You enter an elevator containing one other person situated toward the right wall. You make your way to the back left corner, not wanting to stand too close. On the way up to your floor, the other person exits the elevator, and you move towards the center. You then come to the realization that you have performed an elevator shift.
