Yeet is when you throw something forcefully enough so it hits 75%+ of terminal velocity and is an exclamer that you did so
Stranger : im going to throw this thing furthur than you have ever seen before

you (a nerd) : actualy that things weight was 20 pounds. That means that its terminal velocity is 71m/s you threw it at 10m/s, still impressive however you needed to get to 75% or more out of that value to successfully yeet.
