Any drastic or unusually positive increase in average Joe Schmo blog site traffic as a direct result of a Chris Brogan retweet and/or other digital endorsement via social channels on the crazy interwebs.

When Chris Brogan posts what is below on Twitter, for example, the result is usually what is referred to as The Brogan Effect:

Candlebox Effect

The Candlebox effect is when an individual or group, usually in a theater or sports setting, gets up and starts dancing for no apparent reason. This phenomenon was witnessed during the alternative rock group, Candlebox, show at Celebrity Theater in Phoenix in 2014 , in which a lady was reported to have stood up and danced in her seat during the entire acoustic concert much to the dismay and amusement of other concert goers.

Isha effect

A disease that affects males with well defined abdominal muscles into loving females with relatively (*relatively*) less defined abdominal muscles through the manner of inflating their ego that they love so much( FACT; men love themselves) that in turn they love said females.

My friend said i love you to a girl he never met .. I blame the isha effect.

I'm getting the sierra effect from this guy blaming the Internet Service Provider for the customer's inability to get online simply because the person cannot carry thier machine to another location.
