When two people that are not related discover that they are very similar in terms of extended family relations, interests and ideas, and sometimes they will say the same thing at the same time. They are, however, different in noticable ways, hence the "d" in "twinds".

This person does not have to be related to you by blood. They are someone you cannot live without. You've made that instant connection and it's over. Twins for life. You may get angry or upset at them but they'll always have your back and love you for who you are. You can tell them everything or you can tell them nothing, but they'll understand you regardless. You're more than friends, but less than the other.

Twin 1: "I love coke."
Twin 2: "Oh me too!"
Both: "Twiiiiins!"

Interracial Twin

The name for a pair of friends who liken themselves to being sisters/brothers to the extent that they actually believe they shared the same womb for nine month. In these circumstances, however, these two people are usually of differing racial backgrounds (not just German and French, but across-the-oceans-different, like English and Chinese), hence the name 'interracial twins'.

Chinese girl: That's my sister over there.

Friend: What? But...she's...English?

Chinese girl: Exactly. She's my Interracial Twin.
