Plot Eel

Often thought of as a little darker or more sinister cousin to the plot bunny, Plot Eels can be slippery and hard to wrangle. Where plot bunnies multiply and hop around your brain until you jot them down. Plot Eels live in Plot Holes, they are the things you invent to resolve conflicts. They slither into your thoughts and hiss into your ear the solutions that you should write down, before dragging you into the depths with them.

Plot Eels come in different forms from time to time, some are slippery and hard to wrangle, but they can also be toothy and give you quite a shock.
"Curses, I really thought I was going to finish that chapter tonight, but I had to go hunting for a Plot Eel instead."

"I have a new Plot Eel tugging at me today, I'm excited to explore where it goes! I don't think I'll get much done on my main project though."

"I thought this was going to be such a fluffy scene but then the plot eels dragged me to the angsty side"
