Pull a Barrett

Usually used to describe a person or situation where one leaves work early to play golf under the lie of doing something family related.

Often on a workday when the weather is nice, Jim has been known to pull a Barrett.

Someone: Man, I really hate my teacher, her teaching skills sucks!
Someone else: Heh, sucks. Imagine not having a Mr. Barret.
