To walk all day with no particular direction or intention. "Paint the town"... Often done as a last ditch effort to avoid boredom, and usually ending with some stupid story to be told to other mindless friends.

Christmas Walk of Shame

Christmas Walk of Shame is when you leave your parents house the day after Christmas. In pajamas at 2 o'clock in the afternoon, you walk to your car with all your unwrapped gifts. Usually, feeling down (and broke) because Christmas is over. Most of the time this includes a hangover.

"Look at that family doing the Christmas Walk of Shame."

"Ok, Mom, we are out. Thanks for everything. We are about to do the Christmas Walk of Shame."

Walking stage

The stage at which couples that've usually been together for about 4-6 years begin to randomly walk around the neighborhood to "lose weight." However in reality it's an excuse for the wife to get the husband off the couch and to spend shitty quality time together.

Neighborhood kid 1: wow they've been walking for two days straight.

Neighborhood kid 2: Nah it's just the walking stage.
