Going Salebeceous

Mocking and laughing at someone who clearly has done or said something stupid or someone who cannot understand they are being mocked!

It is a reference to Salebeceous Crum, Jabba the Hut’s, sidekick in the Star War’s Movies

John was “Going Salebeceous” on Joe, by incessantly giggling and mocking him. Joe blew a gasket and John laughed more in that high-pitched giggle!!

Go Him

To "go" someone is to "go after them," which may take the form of violently rushing or mugging them. Therefore, to "go him" would be to attack/mug him.

The term is common in the Ottawa area of Canada, and is particularly prevalent among the Quebecois French-speaking population.

If a guy is walking through Mechanicsville at night, someone nefarious might try to go him. It's best to be in constant contact with someone by phone, preferably a cute gymnast who can come to your rescue.

hope and go

It's slang for a vehicle, (car or truck) that runs very poorly. It's functionality is extremely questionable. It's likely to be an older dilapidated car that requires a ton of maintenance, due to age or lack of care. Performing maintenance has been procrastinated on - big time. It could be a gift horse given to you second hand. It was free or handed over as charity. The owner refuses to properly take care of it except for Fuel and topping off the oil. It's secretly adored for all it's glory. The downside: One never knows when the vehicle may break down. Basically when the Hope and Go must be driven, the owner stresses out while attempting to start the heap. Praying that the vehicle makes it to their destination. Therefore, the Driver describes their heap of a vehicle as a "Hope and Go" because they just hope it goes... originally, it's slang from New Jersey.

Vehicle owner: "Sorry I'm late ... please tell me there's some food left. My Hope and Go was bein' a Biach."

Friend #1: (Joking tone of voice) "Grab a plate - you'd be late, even if you had a race car."

Vehicle owner: (Sarcastic tone) "That hurts . At least I don't look like I was ran over and left for dead."

Friend #1: "Hey - F*#^ off. You should put that thing cout of its misery - its obviously suffering 'cuz it has to deal with you."

Go Hulk

Go Hulk (GOE-hullck)

To grab someone by the ankles and smash their face or head, depending on the way they grab the ankles, into the ground several times—at least three—by whipping their body above the head and back down on the ground so their head or face smashes first, followed by their body going limp, paralysis, and if done correctly, immediate death. This is then followed by petting a small furry animal as if you’ve done nothing wrong and walking away with your head held high.

Amanda - “hey, do you guys wanna snort some aspirin I crushed up to look like drugs?”

A few minutes later...

Jenny - “why is Amanda dead?”

Jeff - “she offered me fake drugs and I had no choice but to go hulk on her.”

Going to the Ivy

Phrase used in the workplace to hide the fact you're having an interview. For example, you turn up to work wearing a suit for an interview and your colleagues obviously know something is up. So you divert the attention with a little misdirection.

"Oi, why you so dressed up today? You never wear a suit and tie, what's going on?"
"Oh, after work me and the Mrs going to the Ivy"
"Oh ok, why you dressed up now though?"
"Won't have time straight after work, going straight there, posh place innit!"
