Get the trolling wordsmug. You idiots all got this fucking wrong. The correct spelling of “internet troll” is actually TRAWLER. The term “troll” comes from TRAWLING FOR ARGUMENTS - like a fishing trawler. Fishing trawlers slowly drag bait or nets behind them and wait for fish to bite. Therefore; if someone leaves a comment on the internet as bait for an argument, they are “trawling” for an argument. Someone who practices trawling for arguments would therefore be coined a “TRAWLER”.

A type of troll, whose specialty is to throw in the first “Remove me” response to an email sent to a large distribution group (typically by mistake), with the malicious intent of starting an email avalanche of other (genuine) “Remove me” responses and the (always futile) "Please stop replying to all" follow-up responses.
After 48 hours of no reactions, our seeding troll was able to ignite the largest email mayhem to-date.

Get the Trollmug. We all know what a(n internet) troll is. It's someone who intentionally says something offensive or controversial within a forum or comment thread, just to elicit a reaction.
Unfortunately nowadays this term is often abused as an "argument stopper", where somebody calls someone a troll just because his/her viewpoint does not align with theirs, or that they refuse to believe what they said was true. That is not unwarranted per se, especially if the person unironically said something so stupid or misguided (e.g. earth is flat), but even a person with a reasonable point or who is telling the truth could be labelled a troll.
