With his eyes fixed on his favorite player in a dramatic match on Centre Court, the tennis fan listened to tournament radio with his ear monocle to hear updates on how her rival was faring on the other side of the grounds.

Ear Expander

A term referring to an earring used to stretch your ear piercing. Examples are tapers, plugs, tunnels, and spirals.

Any jewelry used to stretch and/or maintain a stretch of your lobes is an ear expander.
A common mistake when referring to an ear expander is calling it a gauge (plural: gauges.) "Gauge" refers to a size such as 12G or 00G.
Correctly referring to your ear expanders takes you from hipster to knowledgeable body modifier.

Walmart ears

A phenomenon that arises from using cheap-ass headphones from Walmart. The black foam padding on these Chinese made pieces of shit breaks down over time and leaves a dirty looking,black residue on the unsuspecting user's ears.
