Scene Kid

Okay lets get this whole problem straight first of all do some research before you write things down. Emo is actually spilt off of the hardcore of the 1980's it orginally stood for emotional hardcore. The scene start in washington d.c. because they believed hardcore kids were becoming to violent and just showing up at shows to hurt people the did not believe in the punk rock ideals made clear but hardcore bands such as minor threat. Emo became more popular during the 90's as an indie style pioneered by bands such as sunny day real estate and texas is the reason. Now the interesting thing about emo is it isn't actually around anymore you see it was really just an offshoot of punk similar to the hardcore of the 80's and the more pop side of punk in the 90's. Now we can get to scene kids they listen to bands that are around today such as silverstein and boys like girls. Which is pop music with a little bit of rock thrown in. Never call someone emo because it does not actually exist anymore there are no emo bands anymore only scene bands. As stated pervoiusly emo is just an offshoot of punk that stayed around for a little bit and doesn't exist anymore. It is also very important to know the difference between scene and punk. Punk is politically and socially motivated whereas scene is rebellion as sold at hot topic. Hopefully everyone understands the difference.
emo kid will listen to sunny day real estate, texas is the reason
scene kid will listen to silverstein, boys like girls, my chemical romance, pink spiders
punk kid will listen to against me, anti-flag, rise against, minor threat

Scene kids

Kids that where skinny jeans, and t-shirts from hottopic with a bunch of colorful bracelets and bead necklaces to go with it , for most scene kids there hair is often teased and resembles the color of puke, they usually have a lot of trashy style mascara on.

Scene kids usually have had over 10 girl/boyfriends in other words most scene kids are whore/man whores and nobody likes them but they like to think that they do , scenes may look nice and girl from the outside but don't judge a book by it's cover because most of them are bitch ass drama queens.

Many scene kids are mallrats.
look at them kids over there in that corner they're Scene kids

Evidence that modern subcultures are progressivley sinking deeper into the shitter.

Scene? No depth at all beyond excessive vanity, (Good fucking god. The world's being taken over by trashy, clashing barbiedoll clones.), and must have uber-cute girly obsessions. You immediately choose to like your little dino's? Glitter? Eyeliner? Hello Kitty? Invader Zim? Jack Skellington? Photography? Great job at making things cheap for people with genuine interest in it.

Even classic sub-cultures with depth like goth and punk going back 30 years ago have been reduced to shallow, childish fads that have no place out of teenage years.

You know a generation has failed when people in it thinks it sucks ass. I stand by my opinion.
Scene kids are dissapointing.

scene kids

scene kids are teenagers who are trying to be different or unique. Some scene kids are truly...cool. but MOST scene kids are obsessed with themselves. Constantly dying their hair, buying The Adventures of Flapjack shirts from HotTopic, wearing children backpacks, taking pictures of themselves, seeing how tight their jeans can get, twittering and myspacing how much they cut themselves everyday, looking up random bands they've just heard of and saying that their in love with them, seeing how tight and colorful their jeans can get, drawing dinosaurs on stuff, loading on unattractive make-up and touching peoples faces. Not to be confused with indies. Indies happen to be very original, and Scene Kids are just posers. Indies don't try to get attention. Indies don't buy ripped pants, they just happen to rip when they're rocking out in their own band. Scene Kids are just wanting attention...I think some of them really are inside "Scene" but most are just being someone they arn't because they want people to notice them...I think it's sad. REMEMBER: HYPERACTIVE=UNATRACTIVE
"Wow, did you see Leandra? She used to be different...now shes messed up and she calls herself 'Spiderwebs'! haha...what a freak scene kids..."
