social networking binge

1) When a person occassionally feels like sharing/posting a TON of messages on a social networking website, usually in a short period if time.

2) A phenomenon that occurs to people who don't post on social networking cites too often, but when they do they post ALOT quickly.

12:15pm "Hello all, it's been a while since Ive been on here"
12:20pm "I hate my life"
12:24pm "Good news! I worked out today!"
12:25pm "Argh! Im bored, FML!"
12:27pm "The thorn in my side...needs to go away...it aches"

The act of going on first dates with multiple people in a short period of time to raise one's self esteem.

Person 1: Have you heard from Ashley lately? She hasn't been hangin out with us much since her breakup with Bill.

Person 2:She's been on a dating binge, 6 dates in the past 2 weeks!

sims binge

Usually occurs when one plays the Sims (most notably Sims 2, Sims 3 or Sim City) non-stop for 5-24+ hours and then sleeps and crashes, then continue this pattern for the next 1 to 2 1/2 weeks. After said period of time, players often "burn out" and stop playing the Sims for months on end (sometimes a year+) only to repeat the process again later in life.

Dude, for the first two weeks of summer, I played the Sims and pulled an all nighter at least 5 times! It was the ultimate sims binge!
