being covered or soaked by liquid (e.g water). And yes a fish is wet. the confusion stems from the fact that a fish is always in water so how could it feel the sensation of wet. but yes they are in fact wet it's just the norm for them. a solid is being covered/soaked by a liquid.

A fish in water or if it's at all covered by water is wet. So there. WW3 prevented.
