Protesting doesn't really do anything, it's always going to end up being someone other than the protestors in charge at the end of the day, and that person is always going to try and calm them. What's the point? It's a waste of everyone's time and nothing changes.
The people in charge along with everybody who is not in charge and also not part of the protests laugh at protestors. At least everybody not protesting is getting something accomplished that day, or those days (and nights).

Get the Protestmug. Statue protests never had anything to do with George Floyd's death. The one thing thing Confederate statues to George Floyd's death is strings of misinformation about what the Confederacy was and why there was a Civil War in America. America is not the only country that has ever had a civil war, and the reason is usually who gets what, not some idealistic and lofty cause like abolition or human rights (as good as it sounds).
Statue protests have as much to do with George Floyd's death as penguins have to do with the North pole.

The word Protestant has had a number of interpretations over time, as the reformation itself evolved.
For instance some now would not class Luther as Protestant because he never denied the mass.
Esssentially the RC Church preaches that salvation is only for those who adhere totally to their teachings and doctrines, they interpret the Bible and RC's have to accept their word.
The Protestant Reformation taught that everybody has the right to read and interpret the Bible for themselves. When people began to study Scripture they saw that doctrines such as The Papacy, The Sacerdotal Priesthood, Transubstantiation, The Mass, The Immaculate Conception, Indulgences, Confessions, Holy Water, Rosary Beads, etc., etc., were all totally irrelevant to the simple Scriptural principle of Justification by Faith.
