Max is a remarkable boy with a good soul, yet he is too damaged to show it. When you first meet him, he comes off as closed-off, and nonchalant. He is the type to hide his true feelings even with the people he loves and trusts the most. He may not even admit his feelings to himself at times. Because he has been damaged, he lost his trust in people as a whole. It doesn’t matter how much he loves a person, he may never fully trust them.
