1. A part of one's entourage, generally a male, known for their excessive use of "swoop," a tactic where one attempts to pick-up a female who is already clearly being macked on by one of their friends.
Male 1: "WTF?! That guy in the Spartan costume totally came in and started mackin' on the girl I was talking to!"
Male 2: "He's a total 'Swoop Dawg.' Actually, that's what we call him. You didn't know?"

An acquaintance or friend who tends to disappear into thin air. Often a member of a group of friends who tends to bail at parties, leave early during an engagement, or otherwise is notorious for fleeing the scene without duly giving notice.
"Man, this party is just starting to warm up, but I can't find Peter. I bet Peter pulled a Ghost Dawg again."
"So the new employee just walked off the job? Just like that, without even alerting anybody? He pulled a Ghost Dawg."
