Setting clear boundaries, acknowledging the need for recovery periods, and valuing a balanced approach to work and rest are not signs of weakness, but expressions of professional insight and self-care.
Just as no technical system can run indefinitely at maximum capacity without maintenance, the same applies to human beings. Striving for excellence is admirable, but preserving long-term well-being is equally vital. You should be the one determining how your efforts are distributed — not the work itself.
