Get the Emo Thug mug.a sensitive creature: highly emotional, and mildly introverted. typically, an emo boy has black hair, worn over his face, 'swooshed' to one side. the hair is worn short in back, but long in front, often covering one eye. wearing either plastic-framed glasses, or an abundance of eye-make-up is expected. tight pants and too small tee-shirts are expected, as well. vain, but self-depreciating, they spend endless time mirror-gazing, admiring themselves, whilst obsessing over minute flaws. skinny, always skinny. never can an emo boy exist, that is not skinny. emo boys are sometimes known to food-graze, eating bits and pieces throughout the day, instead of whole meals. the luckier ones, are known for binge-eating constantly, without gaining weight. after such binge-eating, they might complain of looking fat, knowing that they still look great, and certainly not fat. emo boys, can make great friends, but often get shunned for their stereo-typical whiney behaviour. in truth, an emo boy isn't likely to complain more than anybody else. they simply elaborate more. sulking, is typical, though they are too-often accused of sulking, when they are merely day-dreaming. despite a tendency to drink caffeine-loaded drinks, they might fall asleep, without warning. immersed in their own world, an emo boy will often have a despairing opinion on reality.

Get the hot emo mug.1) The fans of emo music (emocore, emotional hardcore), a music genre consisting of hardcore rock with angsty lyrics and a good dose of screaming. The singers/screamers of emo music are typically relatively young guys with feminine voices. Emo bands are also (in stereotype) primarily from New Jersey.
2) The style of clothing stereotypically worn by fans of emo music. This consists of, in general: tight band t-shirts or vintage 80's t-shirts, longer (messy) hair often died black, tight (usual girl's) pants, shoes by Vans or Converse, messenger bags, anything checkered (usually black-and-white or black-and-pink), studded belts, thick-framed glasses, neckties, etc.
(Note: girl emo kids often cut their hair short in the back and angled down in the front, less often died black)
3) The mood that stereotypically displays being an emo kid. They are generally considered the subculture of high-school, and while sometimes referred to as manic depressive or "cutters," are usually quite social. Very romantic, often downtrodden. More realistically, teenagers who listen to heavy music and have no qualms with displaying their emotions. (ie, don't feel the need to prove themselves as "bad-@$$," like many rock fans.)

Get the emo kids mug.A Fat Cat (usually calico) that does nothing but eat, sleep, and act anti-social. When it gets scared, (usually from trash bags and loud noises) it hides underneath a bed and stay there until the cat thinks that it is gone. This can take several hours.
