Most GI-boos get discounts at anime conventions because of their military service which includes retirees, Coast Guard, reservists, national guardsmen, USPHS, NOAA, USMMC, and Civilian Expeditionary Forces Personnel (guys with the US "triangle" insignia on their uniform with the DOD Civilian nametape)
