An expression that's said when a male's genitalia (namely, their testicles) reach maturity. In colloquial terms, when "the balls drop". This term is said when such a moment occurs for a male, typically when among a group of his male friends.

Dave: "Happy New Years!"

Steve: "Nigga what the hell was that for?"
