Dark Networks

Clandestine, encrypted, and often decentralized digital networks operating outside standard oversight, used for secure communication, black-market exchange, or subversive coordination. These are the "dark alleys" of the internet, hidden from search engines and law enforcement, requiring specific software (like Tor) or protocols to access. While sometimes associated with illicit activity, they are also vital tools for whistleblowers, dissidents, and privacy advocates in oppressive regimes. A dark network is defined by its intentional obscurity and resistance to censorship.
Dark Networks Example: A journalist communicating with a source via an encrypted, peer-to-peer messaging app that leaves no central server logs is using a Dark Network. The infamous "Silk Road" marketplace, operating on the Tor network, was a dark network for illicit goods, hidden from the standard web's view.

Dark gods

In the Order of Nine Angles (O9A), the Dark Gods are a collection of entities said to inhabit the "acausal realm," a dimension existing beyond the laws of physical space and linear time. While some members view them as literal beings, others interpret them as archetypes or facets of the human subconscious.

Key characteristics and names from the O9A pantheon include:
Baphomet: Depicted not as the traditional goat-headed figure, but as a mature woman carrying a severed head. She is considered a primary archetypal dark goddess.
Atazoth: Regarded as a powerful "ruling god of the deep," often associated with the process of destroying old ways of thinking and contact through specific "Sinister Chants Nythra & Kthunae: Along with Atazoth, these are frequently cited as the primary "sinister and evil" deities governing the paths of the Tree of Wyrd.
Vindex: A prophetic figure (sometimes called the "Antichrist") meant to emerge in the future to overthrow the current "Magian" (Judeo-Christian) order and establish a new Dark Imperium.
Other Entities: The grimoires mention beings like Shugara, Athushir, Budsturga, and Gaubni, who are said to have "intruded" into the physical universe at various points in history. In practice, O9A adherents attempt to "presence the dark" by opening nexions (gateways) to draw acausal energy into the world. This is often done through rituals intended to cause chaos, disruption, or societal collapse.
Dark gods can be used as a religious god but they also linked to o9a which is one reason it bad.
