A nickname used to describe a persons' basketball prowess, and over aggresive demeaner, specifically in practices and scimmages; generally a mocking term. Air Bay might Baystyle a team mate in an attempt to injure and replace them on the squad.

The best player on the worst practice squad would be "Air Bay"

Similar to awkward flying, is when one person hugs another from behind and the person in front jumps in the air into the fetal position and swings from the behind person's arms.

Air Kenpo

Practising Air Kenpo is a form of martial arts and movement in which the artists pretends to perform Kenpo Karate techniques. Techniques while performed on a fall-guy or uki have no contact whatsoever. The "Meaningful Dialogue" principle can not reciprocated with the defenders self defence technique. Usually this form of Kenpo Karate stems from fear of hurting the fall guy. It give the practitioner a false sense of legitimacy of the art and their ability to perform in real life situations. This is not exercising control during exchange of fall guy/practitioner, but merely "going through the motions." It is sometimes beneficial to both the fall-guy/practitioner to experience some contact of hitting and being hit.

You need to start hitting, this is not Air Kenpo

straight air

When someone, usually performing a sport such as skiing or skating, catches air and does not perform a trick or grab of any sort. Just a straight up air. If you don't flap your arms around madly and you don't land like a boner (see LINE Traveling Circus, Style Coach) it can sometimes look kind of cool.

Zach had mad steez on skis even while performing a straight air.
