A condition where a person has no problems working on a project and completing the majority of it, but becomes wary, lazy, or just stops altogether when close to completion.

Not to be confused with procrastination.

Johnny: "Hey man, I saw you were pretty close to finishing your essay due tomorrow a few days ago. Can I check it out?"

Sam:"Nah, I still haven't finished it yet."

Johnny:"What? But you wrote most of it in like 30 minutes!"

Sam: "Can't help it bro, Finisher's Anxiety."
