Wannabe Badass

A stereotypical group of people in modern society who try to act tough. These types of people often think they're ''gangster'' or ''street kids'', when they were actually raised by parents, go to a school of well learning and get everything handed to them. They're often bullies and act obnoxious, as well as pick on the weak. While these people try so hard to act badass (in which they aren't), they're actually the types that a badass would stand up to and tell them to get a life. Because these people dont dig what a Badass is. A badass does not bully the weak, or act loud, or try to follow the path of a gangster, at all. These people are the opposite of what they're trying to be, Badass.

Wannabe Badass: Now i'm going to prove how badass i am, by starting a fight with a kungfu fighter.

(Approaches a Badass Kungfu fighter)

Wannabe Badass: Hey you faggot! I'm a gangster, man, come on, man, you wanna fight with me, huh, huh, you wanna fight?

Badass: You're not a gangster. You go to school and have never been in a gang. And no i don't want to fight you, i don't fight the weak.

Wannabe Badass: I'm not weak man! Fuck you, man! I go to fitness every saturday, man! You're the one who's weak, man! Come on, you wanna fight me or not?

mexican gang banger wannabe's are simply every where now days, they start like that when they are born and when they first found out what sex,drugs,and guns do.When they go to school on the first day alls they do is talk.By the time the grades 3,4,and 5 (if they can) they are cracking sexual jokes and bullying the smart pretty and handsome kids.By the time of high school they drop out and star hanging out on the corner of the block try to steal peoples wallets and purses to try buy a cheap gun like a high point.(a high point is the worst gun brand in the world like a piece of whale shit morphed into the shape of a large bulky gun.) Once they get the piece of cheap shit they buy some crap ass ammo and try to kill people.On the inside of there small mind they think they are the best when there just a ass licking hippie.

Someone who says she/he listens to indie, when in reality all their music comes from websites that advertise as a place to get "indie rock" therefor not making it indie. Also someone who claims to know an indie band when in reality he/she just claims to in order to be accepted.

wannabe

Anyone who makes an attempt to emulate another person/subculture/lifestyle; usually done to look cool, make friends, or to get attention. More often than not a wannabe is either insecure and wants to find their niche in society or they are just craving attention. These groups include "prep", "gangsta", "goth", "emo", "nerd", and "redneck" ("goth" and "emo" being the most popular). It all starts out when the wannabe sees a certain group as cool and then they try to adopt the style/attitude/musical taste of that group. This normally results in ridicule and the disgust of the people they try to be like.

Example 1:

For starters, whoever posted entry #10 here. I think I know who you are and the person you are talking about... thats not a very nice thing to say about one of your fellow bandmates, now is it?

Example 2:

Seth (emo): Hey... you know that Jacob kid, right?

Henry (another emo): Yeah what about him?

Seth: Well.. he kept staring at me all week last week and today at school he had the same shoes as yours and the same haircut I have.. and he keeps trying to talk to me about how cool Hawthorne Heights and MCR are.

Henry: Dude... thats f*cked up. What a wannabe!
