A Technicity is a technical ethnicity. Group identification by a brand or social media exclusivity with its own standards and subculture. It extends the old style brand loyalty people once had for cars and appliances to entire lifestyles. The people who choose lifestyle products prefer an entire social environment made up of other users of the same lifestyle products.
It isn't only brands. A technicity can revolve around special interest social media which excludes people of all other interests.
Sometimes the behavior of technical adherents reaches religious levels of dedication, exclusion and criticism.
This is similar to how old school ethnic neighborhoods formed and were maintained. But is based on lifestyles created around technical products.

1. Today I was playing wiffle ball with my friends. I hit what I believed to be a towering home run into my neighbors yard, however it was later ruled to be a technical deep fry because the ball was out of play, but was not hit a sufficient distance.
