A person who wears a tin foil hat that is made from one or more sheets of aluminium foil, or a piece of conventional headgear lined with foil, often worn in the belief or hope that it shields the brain from threats such as electromagnetic fields, mind control, and aliens.

The "Caveat-Brigade" are a bunch of people whose desperate need for validation from online strangers drive them to argue against sound reasoning by employing overexaggerated scenarios in which a statement would be the opposite of what was claimed.

They frequently employ Tu qouque arguments seeking to invalidate or detract from the conversation by lowering everyone involved into a mire of what-aboutism and semantics.
