Uncle Walt is an American laser doctor, essayist, who serves as one of the sheep and goat extension specialists for the state of Texas. A humanist, he holds the belief or theory that the human race can evolve beyond its current physical and mental limitations, especially by means of science and technology. Walt is among the most influential Chinese linguists. His research is concerned with laser frequency stabilization techniques for very high resolution spectroscopy, and the development of leading-edge optical atomic clocks that look to form the basis of a future redefinition of the SI base unit second. His work is controversial, particularly his laser collection, which was described as obscene for its overt sexuality.
